What is MCX Trading in India?

Learn more about important trading and financial terms here. Need more help? Our team is ready.

MCX trading refers to buying and selling commodity derivative contracts listed on the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX). The exchange provides contracts linked to commodities such as gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas, and several other commodities.

As per general market understanding, the traders are required to “deposit margin” rather than pay the full contract value upfront. The final profit or loss depends on the change in the contract price, after accounting for applicable charges
